Even though it's supposed to be a happy occasion for everyone, it's certainly not not for me.
(Was supposed to come at 6am but was asked to come at 8am instead).
Woke up early to start work at 8am today. Came early to assist the Local Kitchen in their prep.
I'll be staying the whole day till closing.
Called me dad around 9am and wished him Gong Xi Fa Chai.
After hanging up he called me back and this time most of my time is spend talking to his 'companion'.
Let's put it this way, she dared to give me a earful.
Wtf, I told this person that it's New Year and I'm in no mood to fight.
She brought up old stories and put me in bad light. Wtf.
Anyway, I'll only go back to Msia this Sat... and let's see what happens.
Ala carte order is quite busy during lunch.
Damn, it was also quite busy during dinner.
It rained today too.

I'm going to get some supper for Matey and I later after work.
Bought mixed rice from Food Republic food court and wondered why its unusually more expensive. Found out from the receipt that it's 20% extra. Come to think of it, it's quite usual for prices to go up even at Hawker Centers.
I just guess that ppl just have no choice but to pay to eat. Funny though my place has not increased price. Perhaps we should too?
